Elizabeth Bernard Higgs is an Adjunct Fellow at the Independent Institute, and she mentors an Education for Ministry (EfM) Seminar, a distance theological program of the University of the South, School of Theology Programs Center. She has a B.A. in American Literature from the University of Southwestern Louisiana and was formerly a speechwriter at the Embassy of the Republic of Korea, in Washington D.C. She has been homeschooling her children for over a decade.
