Dwight R. Lee is a Research Fellow at the Independent Institute, Emeritus Chair of Ramsey Professor of Free Enterprise in the Economics Department at the University of Georgia, and Affiliated Visiting Faculty Fellow in the Institute for the Study of Political Economy in the Miller College of Business at Ball State University. He received his Ph.D. in economics from the University of California, San Diego, he is the former J. O’Neil Endowed Chair of Global Markets and Freedom and Scholar in Residence at Southern Methodist University, and he has also taught at Washington University, George Mason University, Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, University of Colorado, San Diego State College, and American Institute of Banking.
