Randal O’Toole is a Research Fellow at the Independent Institute and Director of the American Dream Coalition, and Senior Economist at the Thoreau Institute. He has been Visiting Scholar at the College of Natural Resources at the University of California at Berkeley, Senior Fellow at the Cato Institute, McCluskey Conservation Fellow at the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies, and Merrill Visiting Professor of Political Science at Utah State University.
